About Wakefield Squash Club
Wakefield Squash Club has been at College Grove for approaching 50 years, producing
some of the country's most talented players at county, national and
international levels.
The Squash Club is a very friendly and lively club located
just outside the city centre. It is a member’s run club with no full time staff.
The Club has 4 excellent squash courts, 1 of which is glass backed. With over
200 squash members across all standards there’s no shortage of opponents,
whatever your level.
If you want to take your game past the “friendly” stage
there is a competitive internal mini-league system, club competitions and more
than 9 teams that represent the club in the Leeds Metro Leagues.
If you are
looking to play squash in the Wakefield area then you need look no further.

The newly re Constituted Wakefield Squash Club committee are working in
Partnership with English Squash & Sport & Active Lifestyles towards achieving
the prestigious Sport England “Clubmark” Award.
The award will enable the club to be highlighted as a “Developmental club”, and
help support the new committee in driving the club forward and putting Wakefield
back on the Squash map. Whether you are an established player, a weekly hacker
or someone totally new to the game Wakefield Squash Club is the ideal club to
meet your squash playing needs.
New players are always welcome: any age, any standard! So come and be a part of
